    I have Gold Gacie status at The Venitian. The comp rooms are not strip view there mountain view on the back side. if I upgrade to strip view it's always at a cost. 

    They only write of a percentage or portion of my room service. The Spa's are also discounted but not buy much. 

    The Venitian is tight on Comps and I find their slots tighter! 

    i stay there occasionally because I like the rooms (Strip View) atmosphere and the dinning. I generally will go elsewhere to gamble.

    Back in 2010-2011 I only stayed at V/P. Offers and rooms were great. Then all of a sudden the owner, Sheldon Adelson, came out and said his properties would only comp the top 1% of gamblers. I never received another offer again. I have heard that now this has changed, but I tool that as an insult and have never stepped foot in either casino again. Moved all my play to total rewards and couldn't be happier!

    When I first turned 18 I went to a local casino that allowed 18 year Olds to play. I wanted to try a $5 machine which was a lot for me then and found one that looked good.  I went to sit down and some last and her daughter ran in front of me and say down so I sat to the right of them. No less than 2 minutes later she hit the jackpot, with a 3x multiplier.  $90,000. I gave her a few choice words and went home.  I can't remeber what the machine was but it was an old reel machine with the multiplier on the last reel.
