Guest Gary TBJ Report post Posted June 12, 2017 Worst loss I ever experienced in my life twice came at the hands of The Luxor casino HL room. It must be set to like 0% because they gobble up money quicker than a fat kid loves cake. Trust me I was a fat kid who loved cake. :)
Shui 39 Report post Posted June 12, 2017 I would have to say the MGM at National Harbor. Brand new casino and they couldn't even spare a cherry or two!!! Plus, as a Mlife Platinum member no hotel discounts or comp room. I guess this qualifies as a big lost.

I would say I know 20 people who gamble there or have and it's about 50/50 on who likes it or not.

I think I was done in about 20 minutes. Not a big loss dollarwise, but got absolutely no hits at all. 1 Jeff Patterson reacted to this

I was looking forward to killing an hour or two there (away from the hotel, lol) but that didn't work out too well. I thought about stopping at Ameristar on my way out of town, but with a 6 hour drive ahead of me back home decided to just get out of dodge. Next time I'm there I'll check it out. ShellBelle 23 Report post Posted June 15, 2017 I can't even remember where I lost the most because it happened so often LOL but people tell me not to play at the Indian casinos because they don't post the paybacks but I do pretty good there
cynthiao 61 Report post Posted June 15, 2017 No offense but the Indian casinos are scary. If they want you out they WILL get you out. They will prime you with all the perks, get you addicted, then drop you. I messed up BIG there 1 Freaky Fry reacted to this
Bbstarr 63 Report post Posted June 16, 2017 Worst loss and almost never any wins at Hard Rock in Tampa Florida....if they ever pay out it probably would be called a slot players miracle...this holds true for blackjack as well

Freaky Fry 8 Report post Posted June 18, 2017 TBH, I don't think I've ever been to a Horseshoe Casino that I liked, won at or even got a decent comp from... No wait, I take that back (loosely)... The one in Tunica, they'd send me free 3 day and meals for 2 the entire stay and like $100 freeplay. I'd take the offer and walk next door to the Roadhouse or Gold something and spend my money there. I did that offer from them like 3 or 4 times. I still don't like Horseshoe.

Refzz 77 Report post Posted June 26, 2017 One day I went to my local Indian casino and the bank guys were working on the ATM. I only had $40 so I plopped it down on my hockey number on roulette and walked to the other machines in the slot area. When I came back I had $1400 waiting for me as my number hit. Well that was the best night with the least invested ever. After 6 more hours at that table I cashed out $15,000 and figured that I should go hammer the higher limit slots. An hour later, I was in my car with nothing to show for it. I swear those machines knew it was casino money being fed into them and they got it all back. So, best night ever was also the worst night ever. 4 Monty, Jennifer G., Jimmy Sanchez and 1 other reacted to this
Nicholas S. 70 Report post Posted June 26, 2017 When it comes to big losses, I develop a sudden amnesia. However, I still remember distinctly, 25 years later, where and how much I won on my first handpay. Bbstarr 63 Report post Posted June 26, 2017 Well I have just returned from a four day stint in Vegas and it was miserable gambling. I could not get a bead anywhere. Stayed at Mandalay Bay and if they were giving out money I missed that phone call. It cost me big time this trip. I did manage to win at The D downtown but that was purely by a stroke of luck!! Boo hoo? 1 Nicholas S. reacted to this

I know the feeling, it seems like I'll get a big hit, and then the casino immediately goes back on the take knowing it's their money. It's almost like the casinos don't actually want you to win lol

Plus, as a Mlife Platinum member no hotel discounts or comp room. I guess this qualifies as a big lost. Was up at the MGM National Harbor last week for three days. More or less even for the first two days, Day three, my pops and I were crushing the aristocrat machines. Was up about 750 between Buffalo Gold, Buffalo grand, 5 Dragons Gold, and lightning link. My Dad then hit a handpay on Buffalo Gold. Despite reports of the slots there being tight, I had a blast. Don't expect free drinks, though. That was a major bummer. Back on topic, about a month ago, I took a bath at Harrahs Cherokee. Was my first time there, and was sampling a lot of the fare, but nothing was really paying out. A brave Whales of Cash machine prevented the trip from being a complete disaster. Funny enough, they just sent me vouchers for a free nights stay, $30 in food, and $100 in free slot play, so I'll probably be back there next month. lol
Monty 175 Report post Posted July 1, 2017 This isn't the worst loss per say. 15 years ago when I went to Vegas, I played a game called WAR! All you had to do was beat the dealer by having the highest card. I lost 17x in a row and min bet was $15 dollar. I double up a few times trying to win my money back with no avail. The wife was really upset with me that night LOL.
